destiel for the who holds what

THE FULL MONTY

1. The umbrella, when it rains

Dean, because he has such a strong Caregiver™ gene and Castiel is still mystified by the whole concept of taking shelter from the elements. Castiel does not notice while basically drowning on dry land, which gives Dean Mom-of-the-Year Winchester the heebs and the jeebs

2. The popcorn at the cinema

I refer you to the coaster comment below

3. The baby, when it cries

Castiel gets there first and Dean immediately takes he/she/them away. Dean says it’s because Cas is basically a baby in a trenchcoat but really it’s because Dean Winchester Loves Babies

4. The ice cream cone, when they share

Castiel first. Then, once he’s offered it to a passing dog, Castiel only. Dean’s going back to get a Klondike bar and might not be able to kiss you for a few hours, that’s disgusting

5. The remote, when they sit down to watch a movie

Dean, because Castiel gets super absorbed in anything that’s on and someone in this bunker needs to save them from seventeen consecutive hours of Finding Bigfoot

6. The basket, when they go shopping

Castiel, because it keeps his hands busy and away from the contents of the weird Polish pickle and tinned fish aisle

7. The door, on dates

Dean, Dean, Dean, Dean, Dean, and 50% of the time Castiel is already going through the other door

8. The other’s hand, most often

Castiel tries it once, and never needs to initiate again

9. Their breath, upon seeing the other on their wedding day

Castiel pretty much doesn’t breathe the entire time and nearly takes a header into the trellis, for which Dean is incredibly grateful because then no one notices how badly his hands and knees are shaking

10. The camera, when they take pictures together

Usually Castiel, usually candid, usually without Dean’s knowledge and from very strange angles– over his shoulder while Dean’s working on the car, behind a tree while Dean and Sam are digging something up, from above while Dean is sacked out on his lap…

1 Charlie / Jo

another one from the who-holds-what meme

1. The umbrella, when it rains

Charlie has, like, easily fifteen umbrellas in circulation. She gets a new one at every roadside attraction, state museum, waterpark, Walgreens, miniputt golf course she visits. Jo is still the one who holds the umbrella because Charlie can never, never, NEVER produce any of the fifteen umbrella she hasn’t lost (yet), because Jo has a black cheap black one she keeps in the map pocket and has had it since the nineties

7, 17

7) What’s your religion?

laaaaaaaaaaaaaapsed catholicism

17) Are you happy with the person you’ve become?

well I’m sure as hell better than the person I was last year, and the year before that. I won’t say I’m totally happy but I’m working on it! I’m closer to really being happy than I’ve ever been

12, 39?

12. What does your URL mean?

it’s a combination of the words koto (a stringed instrument from asia) + typhoon, I made it when I was sixteen for some really early 2000s platform like myspace and it never left

¯_(ツ)_/¯

39.

What were you doing last night at 12 AM?

reading the Martian by Andy Weir! It’s basically this guy MacGyvering himself off of Mars after being stranded there. They’re making a movie with sebstan and one of those blond dudes (brad pitt or matt damon or something). It’s really math/physics/chemistry heavy but so hilarious

Time and date: 9:27 AM EDT June 17 (and finally posted on July 25. WOW)
Nicknames:  Rabbit / Rabbitto
Birthday:  The part of May that is Gemini and not Taurus, which I have always resented
Gender:  Cisfem
Sexual Orientation: ¯_(ツ)_/¯
Height:  5’5” (I was 5′4 3/4″ for so long but I EARNED that inch)
Favorite color:  Super saturated blue-greens like this, or dusky grey-blues like this
One place that makes me happy:  I haven’t been able to do this for ages, but we used to literally camp out in Barnes and Noble
How many blankets do I sleep under:  sheet + german down blanket received from my great aunt the nun, purchased in the 1950s
What am I wearing right now:  high-waisted flowery skirt, old button-up, disappointing Lane Bryant blazer
Last Book I read:  Second Grave on the Right by Darynda Jones— this book/this series is a combination of EXCELLENT dialogue and jokes and pop culture references, the FRIGGING WORST storytelling I have ever seen in a published novel, and hilariously bad sex scenes. To top it off, my dad recommended it to me, which means that every time the author awkwardly segues to throbbing loins I automatically think “my dad read this” and squick myself
Favorite food:  Sushiiiiii, the flesh of innocent animals in general
Last movie I watched in the theater:  Mad Max! WITNESS ME (at the time of writing; I think I saw Jurassic World after that)
Dream vacation:  going someplace remote, far away, and cold, mostly just to sleep
Dream wedding:  eh, something quiet. no no no to church weddings and long white dresses
Dream pet:  I’ve got them 🙂 (cats, the answer is cats)
Dream job:  I still think a lot about how much happier I might be as a zookeeper.

Hestia :)

Hestia: describe your ideal house

hmmmmm WELL, for me personally, an ideal house would be narrow but tall, small and easily kept up by one person, with front and back gardens, three or more floors, and very close or in a row with a bunch of other nice small houses. Built-in bookcases. Balconies. Fireplaces, plural. Perfecto
