I feel this. I got 37K words into my original fic and realized i hated working on it. So I started a new one two weeks ago and it’s flowing. Write what is meaningful to you and the readers and feedback will come. Good luck!

y’all also know that I flip-flop on which one I’m actually going to be able to finish and the story I finally did go with for the dean/cas bigbang is one that veeeeery few people liked and it’s making it hard to even write it now because I’m a feedback crackhead and don’t know if this will get me my fix and 20k+ is personally very hard for me to reach without being super

motivated about what I’m doing

rationally I realize that it’s a slim possibility I’ll be able to replicate the precise circumstances that led to shut up being so well received, but my crackhead hindbrain is like, nope, I need that
