I’m playing around with writing a longer version of the space odyssey au with actual plot

thinking through a relationship where one of the participants is asexual (by virtue of being an AI) and the other is decidedly not (by virtue of being a lonely horny astroexplorer) is delightful

like, when they get down to business and Dean actually asks the question that’s been on his mind since they started this thing, a.k.a. “is my robolove’s chassis actually possessed of a dick or not,” CastIEL will frown slightly and say

“not currently. it’s detachable”

18) What’s a sound you hate; sound you love?

I absolutely hate smooth jazz and saxophones. I know this isn’t specifically about music but you could ask me what my most hated pizza topping was and I’d probably say “green olives while george michael’s careless whisper plays in the background”

I favorite sound is the noises the cats make through the door if I’m slow opening the lock

well I’m sure as hell better than the person I was last year, and the year before that. I won’t say I’m totally happy but I’m working on it! I’m closer to really being happy than I’ve ever been

We don’t even need to use a workskin for this, but just an implementation of simple anchor links. So whether you have a lot of references in your work or just want to let your inner Pratchett* loose, this is how you do it.
