Posting in March 2018, the DCPF is now open for sign ups from authors and artists, and welcomes Dean/Cas fics of any rating, genre, and set in any universe–just so long as there’s pining involved!
Authors will need to write a minimum of 15k for their fic to qualify, and artists will have around two months to create a minimum of one piece of digital or traditional art for the story they claim.

In the red corner: fanfic that has one super-hardcore sex scene in the very first chapter, then wanders off into twenty thousand words of meticulous worldbuilding in which nobody fucks anybody at all
In the blue corner: fanfic that starts out in slow burn mode, gets distracted chasing after an unplanned plot bunny, then suddenly remembers it’s meant to be smut and hits you with a super-hardcore sex scene out of nowhere
